Yes I Will!

I was driving home the other day when my 5-year-old asked me a few thoughtful questions:
"God created me, right?"
"God has made me strong, right?"
"God made the world, right?"

His words touched my heart and brought me back to my own childhood and the simple yet profound truths I learned early on—"Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so." In this post we explore what it means to say yes to Jesus in your life, and how that bold “Yes I Will” can transform your faith walk.

God is Our Creator

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." – Genesis 1:27

God created us in His image. He loves and delights in us! I am not sure the human brain can truly comprehend what an amazing truth that is. The almighty Lord who formed the universe, who sustains the universe, also loves us personally and intentionally. If that truth doesn’t make you boldly say yes to Christ and live out your faith, I don’t know that anything will.

God is Faithful

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." – Proverbs 3:5-6

We are called to trust in the Lord, no matter our circumstances. In the difficult times, when life feels overwhelming, and in the joyful times, when everything seems to be in harmony, we can trust that God has us exactly where He wants us. His faithfulness never wavers.

It truly comes down to these two simple yet profound truths: God lovingly created us, and our response should be to trust Him wholeheartedly.

This reminds me of one of my favorite worship songs, "Yes I Will" by Vertical Worship.

God will never fail us. He is never late. He is working all things out. He created us for His purpose—to glorify and honor Him in all we do. He is our Creator, Redeemer, and almighty Savior.

For all of our days, may we commit to praising the King of all Kings—for He has created us, sustained us, and is worthy of our trust with all our hearts!
